He has worked with college and professional athletes, bodybuilders, models, actors, and fitness enthusiasts. Ed has extensive experience with weight loss, bodybuilding, sport specific conditioning, pre and post natal, immune disorders and corrective exercise training methods. He has written numerous fitness and motivation articles, and is the chief contributor to TeamAwesomeNYC.com, where you can find testimonials from his past and current clients.

Ed was a standout at Track and Field and Cross Country in both High School and College. He was his High School’s team captain and  was a first team varsity member of the Ramapo College Cross Country team in his freshman and sophomore year. After a career ending injury Ed focused on a Culinary Arts major at Johnson and Wales University. He used this experience, first in his own nutritional needs, and then to work in various 3 and 4 star restaurants along the east coast. When Ed decided to return to his original passion of health and fitness, this greatly enhanced his ability to help clients achieve their goals.

Ed began his personal training career at Workout World in East Brunswick NJ where he quickly became a top performer in the company and was qickly promoted to Personal Training Manager. This left him as second in command in the gym’s operations, and responsible for the performance of a staff of 20 personal trainers. His passion for the industry grew, so in 2007, Ed moved to New York City to help open the 17th St Equinox location. He aided in the pre sale process, as well as the set up and initial operations of the facility, then opting to become the location’s first Tier 3 Trainer. He has been the top trainer at that location every year since, as well as among the best 1% company wide.  In 2011, Ed was one of the first Equinox employees nationwide to be promoted to the Tier III+ level.

In 2013 Ed earned his most recent promotion as a Tier 4 Health and Wellness Coach, launching only the 8th such department in Equinox company history.
